【七年级暑假英语作文:我的暑假(My（Summer及Vacation)）】The summer vacation is my favorite time of the year. This summer, I had a very interesting and unforgettable experience. I didn’t go to any expensive places or take long trips, but I still enjoyed every moment.
During the first week of the holiday, I stayed at home and helped my parents with some housework. I cleaned the room, washed clothes, and even cooked simple meals. It was not easy, but I felt proud when I saw the clean house and heard my parents say “good job”.
In the second week, I went to visit my grandparents in the countryside. There, I could see green mountains and clear rivers. I played with my cousins, rode bicycles, and learned how to grow vegetables. It was a peaceful and happy time. I also helped my grandfather feed the chickens and collect eggs. That was something new for me.
In the third week, I joined a small English learning group with some of my classmates. We met once a week and practiced speaking English together. It was fun and helpful. I improved my pronunciation and learned many new words.
The last two weeks were spent reading books and watching movies. I read a few storybooks and watched some English cartoons. This helped me improve my listening and vocabulary.
Overall, this summer was not only relaxing but also meaningful. I learned a lot and had a great time. I hope I can have another wonderful summer like this next year.
