Hello, everyone! My name is Li Ming, and I'm a freshman at this university. It's my first time being here, and I feel both excited and a little nervous. I come from a small city in the north of China, where life is quiet and peaceful. But I always dreamed of coming to a big city to study and experience new things.

I have always been interested in English since I was a child. I think it's not only a language but also a way to connect with people from different cultures. In high school, I joined the English club and participated in many activities like English speaking contests and drama performances. These experiences helped me improve my confidence and speaking skills.

Now that I'm in college, I want to continue learning English and maybe even take some courses related to it. I also hope to make more friends and learn about different ways of thinking. I believe that studying abroad one day would be a great dream for me, and I'm working hard to achieve it.

In my free time, I enjoy reading books, especially novels and science fiction. I also like playing basketball and listening to music. I think these hobbies help me relax and stay positive.
