【2014幽默英语演讲小短文分钟的】Good morning, everyone!
Today, I want to talk about something that happens every day, but we often forget to laugh about it — the daily routine. You know, the one where you wake up, try to get out of bed, and then realize that your alarm clock is not working. But don’t worry, your brain is still asleep, so it’s okay.
Now, let me tell you a little story. A few years ago, I decided to learn how to speak English better. So I started watching English movies. But here’s the problem: I didn’t understand a single word. The characters were speaking so fast, and I was just sitting there like a confused robot. I even tried to follow the subtitles, but they were in Chinese. That’s when I realized — maybe I should have watched The Lion King instead.
But the funny part is, after a while, I actually started to understand more. It wasn’t because I became smarter, it was because the movies became dumber. I mean, who else can watch a movie with a talking lion and think it’s normal? That’s the power of humor. It helps us learn, it helps us connect, and it helps us survive the day.
So, what’s the point of this story? Well, the point is that life is full of moments that are confusing, stressful, and sometimes even ridiculous. But if we can find a way to laugh at them, even for a minute, it makes everything better.
In 2014, I remember hearing a lot of serious speeches, but not many that made people smile. And that’s why I’m here today — to remind you that even in the most serious times, a little bit of humor can go a long way.
Thank you!
